WHAT IS PHYSIO-LED PERFORMANCE TRAINING?
Personal training,
reimagined.
Physio-led performance training combines the coaching expertise of a personal trainer with the clinical knowledge of a physiotherapist — in a single practitioner, in a single session. It begins with a high-level physiotherapy assessment that maps your movement quality, identifies any injury history or physical limitations, and establishes a baseline for your program.
From there, every session is designed around that assessment. Your physio designs and supervises your training with a level of anatomical understanding and injury awareness that no standard personal trainer can match — because they're not just coaching you to perform, they're coaching you to perform without breaking down.
This is Phase 3 physio — the stage where treatment ends and long-term strength and resilience begins.
ℹ️
Note on insurance:
Physio-led performance training is not claimable through private health insurance. If you'd like a session that qualifies for health fund rebates, book a standard physiotherapy or exercise physiology consultation instead. We'll always be upfront about which session type is right for you.

WHO IS IT FOR?
Built for people who've
been through it.
🔪
Post-Rehab Graduates
You've finished your physio, you're out of pain, and you want to get genuinely strong — not just return to baseline. Performance training is Phase 3: making sure you're stronger than before the injury.
⚠️
Injury-Prone Exercisers
You keep getting hurt in the gym or on the track. Something isn't right in how you move or load — and a standard PT hasn't been able to figure it out. Your physio will.
🦴
Complex Injury Histories
Multiple injuries, surgeries, or a complicated physical history that makes standard programming feel risky. Performance training accounts for all of it from session one.
🏃
Athletes Returning to Sport
Cleared by your surgeon or physio but not yet confident to train at full intensity. The bridge between "cleared" and "actually ready" is exactly what performance training is designed for.
🎯
Performance-Focused Patients
You came in for a physio problem but your real goal is to squat heavier, run faster, or move better in sport. Performance training is the extension of your treatment — not a separate thing.
👴
Older Adults Training Seriously
Strength training as you age requires careful loading and programming. A physio-led approach ensures you're training appropriately for your physiology — not following a program designed for a 25-year-old.
WHAT TO EXPECT
How your first session
works.
01
Physio Assessment First
Before any training, your physio conducts a full movement and strength assessment. This maps your baseline, identifies any current limitations or injury history that needs to be accounted for, and establishes the appropriate starting point for your program.
02
Goals & Program Design
Based on your assessment and your goals, your physio designs a personalised training program. This isn't a template — it's specific to your body, your movement quality, and what you're working toward, whether that's returning to sport, getting stronger, or just moving better long-term.
03
Supervised Training Sessions
Every session is supervised 1-on-1 by your physio. They coach your technique, adjust loading in real time, and monitor how your body responds. Using our full S&C facility — squat racks, barbells, cables, full dumbbell range — your sessions are as well-equipped as any commercial gym.
04
Ongoing Progression & Adjustment
Your program is reviewed and progressed at each session. If something isn't working or something flares up, your physio adjusts the plan on the spot — without you having to stop, book a separate appointment, and start again.
05
Home Program & Education
Between sessions, you'll have a structured home or gym program to follow — delivered via our app with video guidance. Your physio also provides education on recovery, load management, and the lifestyle factors that affect your training capacity.
